Cozumel Dive Trip (June 8-11, 2001):

These are a few pictures from one of my quick long-weekend dive trips to Cozumel, Mexico. This trip's participants were: Shehryar Burney, Paul Anderson, Avi Bedi, Conor McGann, Gagan Kanwar, and of course myself. Shakir Abbas made this trip as well, however he was part of the "family" contingent that stayed at another resort.

Dives - This trip we did 5 dives. Two dives Saturday morning/afternoon, one night dive Saturday night... then two more dives Sunday morning/afternoon. All were excellent. The deepest dive was to 80 feet (although I ended up at 112' because I got distracted admiring the 10-15' eagle ray that came around a coralhead at 80'... well, that and watching Conor's attempt to catch up to it). Among the cool sights seen were an eagle ray (of course), several turtles, a few eels, an octopus, many lobsters, and quite possibly the biggest barracuda I've ever seen (approx. 5-6').

As usual, I didn't take a whole lot of pictures... but I'm hoping to try and do better on future trips.
